It all started with me wanting to play a certain album for "The 3 A.M. Recording" tonight.  Then it started to storm.  Lightning and rain filled the skies of San Antonio
last Friday night.  So at the last minute I decided to not bring a big stack of wet CD's and just keep it to a minimum and play one band.  In honor of the rain and lightning, I went for the atmospheric sounds of The Verve.  It made a perfect soundtrack for opening the windows and lighting a candle.  Here's a show dedicated to one of the best bands of the 90's.  The Verve.  "This is music".

This is one of the best Verve songs, and it was their first b-side.  Used in the vampire film "Nadja".  It can be found on that soundtrack as well.  Did I mention that this song is super?
30)"She's A Superstar (Unedited version)"  From the "She's a Superstar UK CD single.  An edited version appears on 'The Verve E.P.'.
31)"So It Goes"  From the vinyl LP 'A Northern Soul'.
32)"Mover (live)"  Unreleased song.  There is no studio version of the song, but it can be found on a extremely rare Promo Only Canadian Radio Concert CD.  Really good and really hard to find.
33)"Gravity Grave (Live at Glastonbury 93')"  Easily found on the album "No Come Down:B-Sides and Outtakes'.  Also appears on the NME album 'In A Field of Their Own 2: Live at Glastonbury '93'.  This song shows what musical power the band could show forth live.  A classic song of the 90's.
34)"Twilight"  From the CD 'No Come Down: B-Sides and Outtakes'. Also found on the "Blue" UK CD single.
