34) "The Mid-Morning Recording"         Fanfarlo-'Reservoir'
When we first talked with Fanfarlo in March of 2008, they were only on the ground in the U.S. a mere five hours. For me personally, Fanfarlo were the one band I really wanted to see at SXSW 2008, and they totally lived up to the hype. At that time, they let us know of their forthcoming full length release that was due for release in early 2009. Indeed, in February, the band released this debut full length release, which it also lived up to the hype. I obviously liked it, as it turned out to be my second favorite album of 2009. As Orly and I have the same favorite album of the year, I get to cheat a little and play my SECOND favorite album of the year this week. "The walls the walls are coming down, the here and now and is coming 'round, it will someday bring you down."
