I don't know if it has happened before, but Orly and I have the same favorite release of the past year. Marcus Mumford and his band played for us during SXSW at The Red House and I don't think our lives have been the same since. This album is just plain brilliant. There really isn't a better crafted album this year. Orly told me a month ago that this would be his favorite album of the year, and I began to listen to it more intently. After a couple of listens, I couldn't find an album that was a strong as this one. Each song here is well recorded, and there is not a bad song in the bunch. I think the folk music scene doesn't know what hit it with this masterful piece of album making. Orlando and Michael's favorite album release of 2009. "And my head told my heart, 'let love grow'. But heart told my head, 'this time no, this time no'".
