Another one that I'm surprised I haven't played before. In the late 80's and early 90's, I must have seen this movie about 150 times, at least. A couple of weeks back for the show dedicated to Bart Koch, I played "Hot Patootie - Bless My Soul" and loved listening to it being played on the radio. Maybe I could have waited until Halloween to play it, but it seemed fitting to get it on to welcome October 2015, and also because it just recently celebrated its 40th anniversary. One of my favorite musicals for certain, as the soundtrack is fun, campy, sexy, and quite inventive; especially for the time it was written. Forty years on, it is still being shown in the theaters, and performed live all around the world. It has a lasting quality, and I will always remember getting my freak on during my younger days. It was fun to yell at the screen, be vulgar, and make people laugh. That's why I kept going over and over to experience it.
