Last week we played the first part of United States Live by Laurie Anderson. This week we continue with part 3. This part features the well known piece "Big Science", which is even better live than on the studio album. Part 3 also features one of my favorite pieces by Laurie called "Yankee See". It seems to sum up a lot of the themes and production structure of the full United States Live performance in a long piece. "It Was Up In the Mountains" is also another favorite piece on this recording. These pieces really were influential for me in my field of sound and video production. Another reason of why I became such a fan of Laurie's work. The humor, and the creativity. "Well I was out in L.A. recently on music business, and I was just sitting there in the office filling them in on some of my goals
