For the past few weeks we played the first three parts of United States Live by Laurie Anderson. This week we conclude with part 4. This part features a couple of more known pieces by Laurie, "Sweaters", and "Blue Lagoon" most notably. This part is certainly reflective, and returns to a few themes for the work. As mentioned on the program, she has just premiered a part 5 of 'United States' this past year. I can't wait to hear that!
