I've been listening to this album recently and noticed it hadn't been played as an MMR. I had certainly heard of Belle and Sebastian before this album, but I believe this was the album that really made me a big fan. It may have something to do with the album being produced by legendary producer Trevor Horn. This album is super fun, and it's great that that they still play many songs from this album in their live setlists. "Step into my office baby. I want to give you the job. A chance of overtime.
