A great album from a great band out of San Antonio.
Released in 2006, and it will be one of my favorites from this past
year as well. There are bands out there that people should hear. Bands
that are supported in the hometown, but seem to not get heard in other
parts of the world. I hope this album along with a handful of other
albums from this city makes that statement change. We here at MFL are
trying to make this a reality. This album is certainly radio friendly
and there are at least four or five tracks that are single worthy. "Beautiful"
is one of my favorite songs ever written in San Antonio. It should be
a worldwide single. It should have a great video as well, and one day
it will. ;) People from places other than San Antonio should like this
one. I'm really surprised that some big label out there didn't hear
this gem and put it out with major promotional and distribution. It's
a super recording, and it's proof that albums in this modern age can
be recorded in a living room and still sound really freakin' great.
