Moody Blues-'Days of Future Passed'
Another great album from 1967. With this broadcast,
I think I've played every one of my favorite albums from 1967, but maybe
I'll make it a point to find another. I remember hearing this album
as a child and like many albums I heard in my young life, it spoke to
me with "atmosphere". I would have to say that all my seriously
favorite albums from the 60's are at their heart atmospheric. What can
one say about this album? It's classic in every sense of the word. A
daylong treat packed into forty-two minutes....hmmmm forty-two. I can't
say much more about the record that really hasn't already been said.
I will say that this one is going out to the group of the unsuspecting
people who first heard this album during this broadcast....the possible
early twentys guy or gal who doesn't know it exists, beyond "Nights
in White Satan". "Cold-hearted orb that rules the night, Removes
the colors from our sight"
