I briefly met Ms. Marling at SXSW 2008 when we saw her singing backup for Noah and the Whale during their first American gig. We were quite happy to have documented that performance. Charlie from Noah and the Whale produced this stunning debut from this amazing indie-folk singer-songwriter. I wish we would have caught Laura at SXSW performing her own music...maybe next time. We've been playing tracks from this album for about a year, and the album itself has been out since February. It's certainly one of our favorite albums of the year. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have during the past year. "These are just ghosts that broke my heart before I met you".
