31) "The Mid-Morning Recording"           Ben Folds Five-'Naked Baby Photos'
The last of the albums by this great 90's band that hasn't been played on this section of the program. Certainly a needed compilation that seems to be either a contract obligation for, or a big time favor to, the wonderful indie label Caroline Records. Whatever the case, it offers up some gems including early singles, live cuts, b-sides, and general rarities. Not only is this compilation worth it the price for exclusive studio recordings of "Eddie Walker" and "Emaline", but it also features pseudo-jam versions of songs from other albums that showcase how good the band was at improvising live. I know Orlando doesn't really share my love for this band, but I do know that he never took a chance to see them play live. Before I saw them live, I liked them.....after I saw them perform, I was a fan. I'm definitely not ashamed to admit that I witnessed this band seven times in their short career, and I've seen Ben perform solo three times since then. The only reason I haven't played this one yet is because of the profanity held within. Unfortunately, I had to heavily edit the album for the damn FCC and their bullshit, but on the web, we shall let it fly. "When money talks, I hate to listen, but lately it's been screaming in my ear." Michael-MFL
32) James-"Sayonara"  From the CD 'Wah-Wah'.
