Certainly not my favorite piece of vinyl in my collection, but I've been wanting to play this album for a little while, and since I only own it on vinyl, I figured this would be a great time to play it. The last official Hendrix release during his lifetime. It was apparently a contractrial obligation to Capitol records, and Hendrix never saw a dime from the release. Never the less, it is a wonderful live recording featuring one of the most talented rock groups ever assembled, but also possibly one of the shortest lived groups as well. Check out the documentary about these shows that Jimi played for New Year's week 1969-1970. The film is an interesting watch for sure. It features many songs from the show that didn't see the light of day until a re-released version of this album. "....and with your own self to blame, machine gun!"
35) James-"Sayonara"  From the vinyl LP 'Wah-Wah'.
