13) "The Mid-Morning Recording"         Laurie Anderson-'Home of the Brave (Laserdisc Film Soundtrack)'
We're playing this recording in particular for this show because it was mentioned during the Datarock interview as Fredrik and I share a great love of the wonderful Mrs. Lou Reed.  Much like a couple of years back, we played a Talking Heads song every week because Orly hadn't heard too much by them. So for 2010, I have decided to play a Laurie Anderson track every week in hopes that Orly and many others will also see the greatness of this avant-garde performer. Datarock took up the whole show tonight, and I think they will dig it that we played all Datarock for two hours and then played this amazing soundtrack from this brilliant concert film, all the way through. We love you Lou, but we love Laurie just a little more. :D  Played from my Laserdisc copy of the film to my computer and then played for you over the airwaves. I wish you could see the film along with the recording. It's such a shame that this hasn't seen the light of day on DVD yet. For William S. - "Que es mas macho, pineapple o knife?"
