This album reminds me of being young; very young. This album came out during my first year on the planet, so it is no doubt one of the first pieces of music I enjoyed as a baby. I always thought the album cover was amazing as well. Not only because it looked like "going to the movies", but the ticket taker also looked similar to a young version of my grandfather. (That always freaked me out......"why is grandpa on the cover?") From start to finish, this album is wonderful. If you don't like piano pop to begin with, then this album wouldn't be up your alley, but this might be my favorite album Elton John and group have made. (I can only think of two or three others that can rival it.) "Daniel", "Teacher, I Need You", "Eldeberry Wine"......some of my favorites ever penned by Taupin and John, and the rest of the album is also very strong. Dedicated out to my father, as I know this is certainly one of his favorite albums, and also this copy of the album was from his collection. Thanks poppa!
