30) "The Mid-Morning Recording"          Squeeze-'Cool for Cats'
I've been rediscovering the greatness of Squeeze lately, and after the birthday of Squeeze's original keyboardist Jools Holland past last week, I've been listening to this album in particular. Like their contemporaries XTC, this band never really found too much fame in the United States apart from one or two breakout tracks. The bands were so much more than just the hits. Fans of the video game Rock Band can even play the title track sometime; it's good fun. " I never thought it would happen, with me and the girl from Clapham. Out on the windy common, that night I ain't forgotten." Thanks to Jason Trevino of The Rosedale Highs for lending me the disc to listen to and to play for you all.
