Last month we had the privelege of having Ms. Laura Cantrell perform at the Flat Top for our unofficial daytime parties. She's an amazing country artist that we've followed pretty much from the start of her recording career due to the late great BBC 1 disc jockey John Peel. Since he passed on in 2004, it was very nice of her to share her personal experiences with him. It was dear to us to see that she realizes how much we are influenced by John Peel here at MFL, and how much we appreciate how his influence affected the world of music. There is great amount of unheard music out there, and someone needs to make sure it gets played somewhere. Thanks again to Laura for playing and for the great stories.
