A week ago today, the great actor Otto Sandler passed away. He was an actor in my favorite movie ever made "Wings of Desire". It seems a fitting tribute that for our MMR this week, we present the soundtrack to the Wim Wenders film "Faraway, So Close". The film is a continuation of "Wings of Desire" and surrounds the character of the angel Cassiel and his fall to Earth after his timeless friend Damiel falls in love and then falls to the Earth in the first film. Cassiel's story is sadly, not as happy as his friend's trip to Earth, but he does learn some moral lessons along the way. You may have seen "Wings of Desire", "Faraway, So Close", or "Das Boot", and if you have, then you've witnessed the great actor Otto Sandler. This MMR is dedicated to him and the angel Cassiel; wherever he may be now "We've come to bring you home, Cassiel". - Michael - MFL
