Electric Light Orchestra is certainly a favorite of mine, and has been since I was a child. I have almost every LP they released on vinyl, and even some 7" singles as well. I bought the ELO 'Greatest Hits' compilation LP when that was released after this double album, and that featured most of the singles from it already. I wouldn't buy a copy of this album to enjoy into well into my 20's, and I wouldn't enjoy most of the album cuts until then. I'm surprised to learn online that this album is ELO's most successful in terms of album sales. I find that pretty amazing considering it is a double album. It was one that got a little lost in their catalog for me. It does have great singles, but the album cuts are strong as well. So many songs that it is obviously that Lynne certainly was in his stride at this point. One of the best album gatefolds ever as well. Best enjoyed on vinyl, but this is a remastered edition from the newest box set of their catalog. "Please turn me over." - Michael - MFL
