With the passing of Bobby Keys and Ian McLagan in the past week, I've been listening to a lot of The Rolling Stones. Also during the past week, I finally got to see the documentary about the music made in Muscle Shoals. Some of the basic tracks of this album were recorded in Muscle Shoals, and with the passing of the saxophonist who played all over the sessions, I thought I would play this for the MMR. Some of the best songs the band ever made appear on this record, and it was fun to play my mother's original vinyl pressing of the album. Complete with the Andy Warhol zipper cover.
