There are about five or six different versions of this Kraftwerk album including a version with songs in Spanish. It's not my favorite album by the band, but it is still a masterpiece, as it is Kraftwerk. It's also the newest disc to my collection, so I thought I would play it as a MMR. The album originally had a working title of "Techno Pop", but it was changed to "Electric Cafe" for the original 1986 release. When the band remastered it and re-released it in 2009, they changed the title back to the working title of "Techno Pop". They also released it will an extra song and in both German and in English yet again. It's the first album by Kraftwerk where predominately digital instrumentation was used. It certainly won't be the last album we play by the band as an MMR. I'm planning on adding many more of their albums to my collection. One day, I will see them perform live.
