Well it was an amazing surprise that Ride will return to Texas for the first time since 1992. An amazing live band who I have got to see twice already. This compilation features "Chelsea Girl", the first song I heard from Ride when it was played on MTV's 120 Minutes in 1990. At the time MTV was giving away a radio station for a contest, and I remember saying to myself after seeing the video for "Chelsea Girl", "If I had a radio station that song would be on the air tomorrow." It's safe to say, Music For Listeners wouldn't exist if my uncle didn't take me and Bart up to see Ride and Lush in 1991. It was there that we first met Orlando, and of course the rest is history.
