Another in the list of, "why wasn't this album played before". Back in 1999, the only full length album by this Cornershop side project was released, and I remember being an early favorite during the first year MFL was on the air. KRTU got a copy of the U.S. edition of the CD, and we played the hell out of it, especially "Mr President". It's a pretty funky album full of lots of hip hop beats, disco grooves, and great samples. It's also quite fun and experimental as well. If Hillary does get into the White House come 2017, then maybe this project will return with another album. We can only hope.
