Sad to report that one of our favorite bands from Sheffield has decided to call it a day and disband. MFL has had a long history with The Crookes going back to their first EP on Fierce Panda Records. They played for us twice up at our parties in Austin, and they hosted a damn fine episode of "The 180" not too long ago. They are saying that the split is amicable, so here's to hoping they make some more great music sometime down the road. In honor of their great work, tonight we played our favorite album from them. We like all their albums, so this won't be the last we play as an MRR, but this one has some of our very favorite songs they made. Thanks for all the amazing music guys! "Save us when we're old.
