Wilco is playing in San Antonio in just over a week. We've played Yankee Hotel Foxtrot already, and since Orly was just this week listening to this classic album, it seemed proper to play it for the MMR. Of course, the story goes that Woody Guthrie's daughter Nora Guthrie contacted Billy Bragg about writing music to some unused lyrics her father had stored. Billy asked Wilco to take part, and they both received a few sets of lyrics to use. There ended up being three volumes of "Mermaid Avenue " released. One of our favorites from the Wilco catalog, and I am looking forward to seeing them once again. "I'd like to rest my haded tonight on a bed of California stars." - Michael MFL
