29) "The Mid-Morning Recording"           Teleman-'Brilliant Sanity'
The UK label Moshi Moshi is certainly my favorite label today. They sign some our favorite acts out of the UK, and their artists always seem to produce amazing records. Many of which are sadly still under the radar for most people. Orly and I have been long time fans of the band Pete and the Pirates and they indeed even played our first set of unofficial SXSW parties back in 2009. In 2012, Pete and the Pirates split up and three of the members morphed into Teleman. They put out some singles, and their first album 'Breakfast' was released in 2014. I do like that first album a lot, but in 2016 they released a single laden album that easily became one of my favorites of the year. I've been turning people on to the album since its release. It's hard not to like this album when there are so many amazing hooks, and you can tell that the album was meticulously mastered at Abbey Road Studios. It sounds super clean. An album I'll keep listening to for a good while. It sticks with you. Thanks to Orly for giving me a vinyl copy of this album for Christmas 2016. "She lifts the stylus and drops it down. The ice is melting all around. Put on, put on your favorite song. The girl from Dusseldorf is gone." - Michael MFL
30) James-"Sayonara"  From the album 'Wah-Wah'.
