29) "The Mid-Morning Recording"            The Wave Pictures-'Brushes With Happiness'
Another testimate to why The Wave Pictures may be the most underrated band on the planet. They have a huge catalog at this point, and every album is pretty much a masterpiece of performance. So happy to say that I've seen this London band live twice over the years, and they even guest hosted their own episode of "The 180" for us. The feeling of listening to this album is pretty much summed up by the band's own singer and guitarist, David Tattersall; from their Bandcamp page - "We recorded this album live in a small room to tape on one night in January, playing music into the wee hours. Listening to the album feels like being in a ceremony. It takes you to that place. This is music that emanates from one group of people in one place in space and time. Listening to it is like being let in on a secret.". That is precisely the way I feel when I listen to this album. A late night set of blues to guide you through the ether of life. "Waving to the waves. Waving to the waving sunflowers."
30) James-"Sayonara"  From the album 'Wah-Wah'.
