Michael's favorite album of 2019. So glad that we found this band as the final booking for our parties up at Lazarus Brewing this past year. Their label Distiller Records tipped us to them, and the rest is history. The band said it was their favorite show of the week, and I was super impressed with their output. This album came out in April, and I was astounded by the songwriting for a debut release. Yeah they sound like early Vampire Weekend, but they also have a huge Paul Simon and reggae influence, so that will surely come out in the final product. All that said, I think I like this album way more than any of the Vampire Weekend albums; which is a bold statement. There is just something about the Afro-beat influence from Manchester that speaks to me more. If they make more albums like this one, then they won't be unknown for long. This album was easily the album I listened to the most in 2019. "Why did you have to look me? Are you aware what it almost did to me. And I'll sink and I'll sink and that's a treat." - Michael - MFL
34) James-"Sayonara"  From the album 'Wah-Wah'.
