I remember when I first heard that Danger Mouse and James Mercer was going to collaborate, I knew it would be something special. So glad I can say that I've seen The Shins play multiple times over the years. So glad that I can say that I've seen The Shins in space at least once. The project of Broken Bells is certainly an even more spacey side of James Mercer, and as my dad said after the concert, "That's the best light show I've seen since Pink Floyd". I know James would love that. I noticed I hadn't played either of their albums as a Mid-Morning Recording before, and so I pulled this one. We'll play the first album sometime as well, as soon as I can remember who I lent my copy of it to. Maybe I"ll have to buy a new copy. "It's a perfect world all the same" - Michael - MFL
