Another one on the list that I'm surprised I hadn't played before. When this album was released, I was already a huge fan of both the band James, and composer Angelo Badalamenti. When I heard the project was coming out, I was super excited about the album. It did not disappoint. Bernard Butler (fresh out of Suede at the time) was hired to work on guitars and co-produce the album. Special guests include Brian Eno and Durga McBroom on backing vocals. It just recently was released on vinyl for the first time, and since I picked up a copy, I looked to see if we had played it as a MMR, and shockingly, it had not been played. It's a really varied album, and somewhat like Tim's first solo album, but Angelo's music is certainly the up front and center piece of the project. I wish they had made a couple of more albums with this team of artists.
