This MMR was picked out by Orly --- One of the last albums we haven't played by Blur. Certainly one of our favorite all-time bands, we think we left this one towards unplayed as it is their biggest album in the U.S. to date. "Song 2" sent them over the top here in the states. It's a great album with amazing hooks as per usual from Blur. A powerhouse of British pop music. I remember buying a promo version this album used from a local book store the week before it was released. On the way home I listened and as soon as "Song 2" ended I said to myself, "Sounds a bit like 'Advert' (an earlier Blur song that I thought should have been a U.S. single), and it's going to be a hit for them for sure". Just hitting it big in the U.S., but Orly, myself and our friends had already met the band in Austin in 1992, five years before the release of this album. "Pleased to meet you" - Michael - MFL
