32) "The Mid-Morning Recording"         Kate Bush-"Before the Dawn - Act II"
When Kate decided to perform live again after a 35 year hiatus from the stage, it wasn't too much of a surprise that she decided to include an extended version of what many would consider her magnum opus, "The Ninth Wave". Since she stopped performing live in the early 80's, it's a work that she has never performed live, so it's so amazing that she included it in this 2014 show. Originally it takes up the complete second side of the album "The Hounds of Love", and it has been expanded here in the live setting. It's the story of a woman adrift at sea, and all the thoughts that go through her head as she grasps for her life. First feeling like she has fallen underneath a sheet of ice, then thinking of what her family must be thinking as she isn't coming home. Then she feels anger of her situation, and then the feeling of floating in orbit before being rescued and having a feeling of overwhelming love and appreciation of being alive. The story really comes to life in this live version. Act III next week. "You can't hear me leaving...........LET ME LIVE!" - Michael - MFL
33) James-"Sayonara"  From the album 'Wah-Wah'.
