30) "The Mid-Morning Recording"       Harry Nilsson-'Son of Schmilsson'
On my recent trip to Minnesota, the music of Harry Nilsson seemed to be a steady happening from the planning stages of the trip with putting together music for the trip. My dad had the idea to watch the animated film of 'The Point' for a movie night, and it cemented the point home, that every journey has a point. So we ended up listening to a lot of Nilsson's work on the trip, and I thought to play maybe my second favorite Nilsson album for the MMR. I haven't played it before, as I was reluctant to edit the seminal track "You're Breaking My Heart", for the FM dial. I finally overlooked having to do that, and edited it for the FM broadcast, but left it unedited for the encore stream. Harry Nilsson is easily one of the best singer/songwriters of all time, and one of the most overlooked artists of any time. A genius with an incredible talent with the gift of song, voice, and thought. A true storyteller with the ability to impress those who read between the lines...and the notes. There's more 'life' in there as well. "Turn on your radio baby. Baby, listen to my song". - Michael - MFL
31) James-"Sayonara"  From the album 'Wah-Wah'.
