Good things happen when Alex Patterson of The Orb, and Andy Falconer of AFP and the early days of The Orb get together. Andy Falconer Projects and The Orb have always been a favorite for many of the KRTU producers over the years, so it was such great news that Andy and Alex were once again making music together. This is their first studio collaboration since the first Orb release, and it is a doozy. Another amazing ambient-dub record, which is to be expected from these two. It is also the first release from Alex's new record label, Orbscure Recordings. Like the title of MFL, the label name is a play on words from Brian Eno's 1970's label Obscure Records. Regular listeners might know that Andy Falconer is a regular listener of Music For Listeners, and has hosted a few 180 broadcasts for us now, so we were so super excited to have him back with Alex.
