Since Devo seems to be ending their touring career with the current dates they have scheduled, I thought about playing one of their albums as an MMR. Turns out we hadn't played their first album, so now's the time. Produced by Brian Eno and released in the late 70's, the album that sent us into devolution. A few early classics from the band on here including their cover of the Stone (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction, which they made their own. The album also features "Uncontrollable Urge", which surprisingly enough was not a single from this album. It became a live favorite though, and was pretty much performed at every Devo show since the start. So glad I can say that I witnessed their wonderful stage show a few years back now.
