The world lost the great Damo Suzuki this past week, the second singer for the German band Can. Can is certainly one of the most influential bands ever, and this album is often mentioned as a huge influence on many artists that followed. Primal Scream, The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Sex Pistols, Radiohead, and so many others cite this album as a major influence on their work. A great work of angular arty psychedelic rock. The epic eighteen minute centerpiece "Halleluwah" is a favorite of mine.
