I hadn't played a T-Dream album in a while, and while I'm a little surprised I hadn't played this 1974 classic before, I think I was waiting to come across a CD copy. I have an original vinyl pressing of the album, and it was bought used so many years ago. I love a lot of their Virgin Records output, but this one was the very first they did for the label. It has a rawness to it, which makes it a little tense here and there. I love music that creates atmosphere, and I feel 'Phaedra' was the first T-Dream album to foreshadow the many many soundtracks they would create over the years to come.
