A few weeks back I was surprised to find an import vinyl copy of this record at a local record shop. Vinyl albums from this time period of the early 90's are getting rarer to find, so I had to pick this one up. I've had this album on CD when it was brand new, and before Blur, this was the first album I bought produced by Stephen Street that wasn't an album by The Smiths or Morrissey. It was about this time that I started listening to music based on producers alone, and being that Street's name was on the cover, I bought it. It's certainly a poppy album, and it reminds me of graduating high school. A cheerful album all and all, and hopefully sometime soon I'll find a vinyl copy of the album released after this one. This one really takes me back. "And I'm making it all, crystal clear." - Michael MFL
30) James-"Sayonara" From the CD 'Wah-Wah'. |
