31) "The Mid-Morning Recording" Go-Go's-'Beauty and the Beat'
Played in honor of the band calling it a career in the past week, and the fact that I just found a copy of the album about a month ago. Orly and I forgot to talk about on the show the connection of "We Got the Beat" to "Fast Times at Ridgemont High". When I hear the song, it reminds me of that film. Indie new wave played by five rock and roll women. Paired with MTV, it was a game changer for a young boy like me. - "Pay no mind to what they say, in the jealous games people play."
32) James-"Sayonara" From the album 'Wah-Wah'.
