When this album was released, I listened to it a lot, and every now and then I come across the CD in my collection and give it spin. This week while looking for an album to play, and discovered this album had not been played as an MMR. We've played pretty much all of our favorite albums from The Boo Radleys at this point, and I was a little surprised I hadn't played this one. The only true solo album from Sice, the lead-singer of The Boo Radleys. I myself am a huge fan of Sice's voice, and that's really what drew me into their music originally. Earlier in the broadcast we happened to play a new song from Martin Carr, the guitarist and main songwriter for the Boos, and I was reminded of Eggman. I figured it would be nice to include Sice on this broadcast as well. We here at MFL believe The Boo Radleys are certainly in that list of legendary bands on Creation Records. I only got to see The Boo Radleys once when they opened up for Sugar, (another legendary Creation Records band fronted by the amazing Bob Mould), inside Austin's Liberty Lunch. A bill for the ages at a venue for the ages! The only release by Eggman is pretty much to me a stripped down, more acoustic and pastoral affair, than albums by the Boos. You can certainly hear the parts of The Boo Radleys that Sice contributed to. A quality album. "Time is here to declare a new place, a new heaven." - Michael MFL
32) James-"Sayonara" From the album 'Wah-Wah'.
