27) "The Mid-Morning Recording" R.E.M.-'Green'
The first R.E.M. record I heard the week it was released. This album always will remind me of the late Bart Koch. I first heard it during one of my first visits to his house back in high school. Of course "Stand" took the world by storm as their first mega-hit, but there are so many other songs on this album that are amazing. "World Leader Pretend" is for sure one of my favorite tracks by the Athens band, but "You Are the Everything", "Hairshirt" and "I Remember California" are also up there for me. Some great rockers on this album. I'm so glad they decided to film the tour for this album, subsequently released as "Tourfilm". Something we've already played as a MMR actually. "The stars are the greatest things you've ever seen, and they're there for you. For you alone, you are the everything."
28) James-"Sayonara" From the album 'Wah-Wah'.
