A really wonderful compilation of songs, and some really wonderful score pieces by Mark Mothersbaugh. Just listening to the soundtrack makes me think of the Winter of 1998 when I first saw the film in the theater. It really is Wes Anderson's best film. Certainly the easiest of his for me to watch multiple times. I may have found "Makin' Time" by The Creation from another source eventually, but this is where I first heard that amazing and overlooked pop gem. The soundtrack is full of pop gems.
