Jeanne Jakle - The 180
The one-hundred and twelfth installment of "The 180" is hosted by
San Antonio based newspaper columnist Jeanne Jakle.
After serving thirty-eight years as the TV columnist with the
San Antonio Express-News, Jeanne has become a freelance
writer and novelist. After becoming a freelance writer earlier this
year, Jeanne now has a little more time to spend relaxing by the pool,
going on long walks, starting a novel, and guest hosting radio shows!
Her show is just as eclectic as she is personally.
First broadcast - December 15, 2018

Forrest Good and His Mom Julie Good - The 180
The one-hundred and eleventh installment of "The 180" is hosted by
artist and law student Forrest Good and his mother, San Antonio singer/songwriter Julie Good
All of the songs on this broadcast were selected by Forrest, and sometime in 2019, Julie
will celebrate her newest album release with a 180 broadcast of local musicians. Michael has known
Julie since high school when they became friends acting together in theater arts.
Forrest selected an quite eclectic mix of songs for the MFL airwaves.
First broadcast - November 24, 2018

Jennifer Leduc - The 180
The one-hundred and tenth installment of "The 180" is hosted by Austin

Jennifer brings us three hours of some of her favorite artists from Texas and around the world.
She has great tastes, and we've been trying to get her on the broadcast for for a few years now.

Demitasse - The 180
The one-hundred and ninth installment of "The 180" is hosted by San Antonio
based duo Demitasse - The other project from Joe Reyes and Erik Sanden.
Their longtime project Buttercup produced the stellar fifth episode of "The 180" way
back in December of 2009. Since Demitasse are releasing their second album
on the last friday of September, we thought it to be proper to have them host a
180 broadcast under this moniker as they celebrate the release of the record.
  First broadcast - September 29, 2018

Garrett T. Capps - The 180
The one-hundred and eighth installment of "The 180"
is hosted by San Antonio based, singer, songwriter, and producer
Garrett T. Capps. Space country is his game, and we at MFL love that!
We've been listening to Garrett for a few years here in SA,
but Garrett's first album 'In the Shadows (Again)' is bound to turn
some heads outside of the state. A country rock album so spacey that he
even released an ambient version of it. We're happy to have him
take over for a broadcast of "The 180"

ELO All Night - Five Hours of Electric Light Orchestra
In honor of their first U.S. tour in over 35 years, we broadcast a special FIVE
HOUR show featuring the music of Jeff Lynne and Electric Light Orchestra.
In the end, five hours wasn't even enough "time" to play everything I wanted to. I wish I
would have had "time" to play more from the earlier albums, but I crammed in
as much as possible. A good cross section of album cuts and well known singles!
There are few bands I would dedicate a FIVE HOUR show, so I hope you enjoy
and get to listen to at least some of it, if not all of it!
First broadcast - August 4, 2018

The one-hundred and seventh installment of "The 180" is hosted by Oakland based,
Texan bred, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Bill Baird taking

songs from the seven albums he's released in the only the past three years. After
the projects of Sound Team and Sunset, he has set out as a solo artist, and has
released a strong body of work to date. A wonderful musical journey that
showcases one of world's most prolific and talented musicians, with
the man himself as the guide.

Matt Bonner - The 180
The one-hundred and fifth installment of "The 180" is
hosted by broadcast announcer and former player for the San Antonio Spurs, Matt Bonner.
Ever since we heard of the Red Rocket's love of Indie Rock, MFL has been trying to
chase him down to produce his own broadcast of "The 180". Michael finally met up
with the Sandwich Hunter back in October at Low Country to see Juanita Stein perform
and planted that seed. After the 2017-2018 Spurs broadcast season ended, KRTU
interns Dominic and Constantine sat down with Matt in the KRTU studio, and got
him to chat about every song he compiled for his guest host appearance. A long-time coming.

The one-hundredth and first installment of "The 180" is hosted by
composer, songwriter, and KRTU intern John C. Morgan. With very short notice,

A little classical, a little jazz, a little bedroom pop, and a whole lot of his own influences.
